Looking Dull?

The Situation

Let's set the stage.

You get a fancy camera.

A beautiful sunny day arrives.

Perfect first test run for the new camera.

You return to your computer to review the photos.

DULL AF.

Before Photo

Turns out all our phones take photos and automagically do a ton of processing to make them look vibrant, saturated and beautified. They do a really amazing job at it to. No worries, I heard Lightroom is pretty good. $18 dollars a month!? nope.

Open Source FTW

In steps Darktable, an open source, feature rich, and free software with at a ton of great content creators making tutorials.

Two hours later, we have a workflow establish, settings configured and a much more vibrant photo. It's not very good, but I will take it for a first try!
